I'm really battling to find usable information on how to determine the correct portion sizes. 2) Also I have bile re-flux and the extreme amount of fat are not helping. PLEASE can you give me some advise? Thank you in advance :-)

Re: Rules for the Atkins Diet Induction

The Atkins is a waste of time and fundamentally harmful. Personally, I find that artificial sweeteners do not affect my Atkins-powered weight loss. And frankly, I'm not sure I could get by without them. I do however notice that artificially sweetened treats (interestingly enough, especially the ones I mash up myself) can give me a bit of a food/carb crave. Not ideal, I agree, but that's okay. I also don't have any problems with caffeine, by the way. Not sure I could get by without that either. :D

Now that I think about it, the edition of The New Atkins I have specifically stated that both diet soda and coffee are okay to consume even during Induction. Diet sodas can even be factored into your fluid intake. I do believe, however, that not everyone reacts to sweeteners and/or caffeine equally well.

Thanks for all the interesting articles! Cheers!

Re: Oh Yeah!
